Lactobacillus gasseri
Lactobacillus gasseri is one of the four key bacteria in the vagina of women with a healthy vaginal microbiome.
Lactobacillus gasseri is another common inhabitant of the vagina in women with a healthy vaginal microbiome. As well as producing Lactic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide which inhibit the growth of bad microbes, it also produces Lactocillin which is an antimicrobial compound which is especially active against the bacteria which cause urinary tract infections.
