L.rhamnosus is a found in the urinary tract of women with a healthy vagina and urinary system. It is one of the most researched strains of Lactobacillus in relation to supporting urinary tract health and has been shown to have activity against the yeast and bacteria causing urinary tract infections and BV. It is really important to know the strain, as some prefer to live in the gut where they do a different job.
